The Zebra Tramp Oil Belt Skimmer pulls tramp oil off the top of your coolant while the machine runs. A 28 rpm continuous-duty motor carries a polyurethane belt down into the sump; dual wipers scrape the oil into the discharge hose and out of your coolant. Built in Solon, Ohio since 1994. Lifetime Warranty on the skimmer. Every wear part is a stocked replacement.
Which one do I order?
- Belt width. 1 in removes about 1 gallon of oil per hour and fits most CNC sumps. Pick 2 in for heavy tramp oil or large central sumps (about 2 gallons per hour). Either fits through a 2 in x 2 in opening in the sump cover.
- Reach. Reach is the distance from the skimmer's mounting base to the center of the bottom pulley. Measure from where the skimmer will sit down to the lowest coolant level in the sump; the bottom pulley has to stay under the coolant at its lowest. Standard reaches are 8, 12, 18 and 24 in. - Voltage. 115 V (US) is standard. Choose 220 V (Europe) for 200 to 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, or 24 VDC to run the skimmer from the machine's own control power.

How long does a belt last?
The polyurethane belt is a wear part; life depends on oil load and runs from months to years. Replacement belts are stocked. The skimmer carries our Lifetime Warranty.
Can it run all the time?
Yes. It is designed to run continuously; most shops leave it on.
Does it remove the coolant too?
Very little. The belt picks up what floats. Pair it with a coalescer if you want the last of the emulsified oil out.
